Newsletter: Seagull of July

We are reaching the middle of the calendar summer. It might be hard, hot, or rainy there, but still enjoy it. You know that autumn and winter will come next. Everything is temporary, so enjoy what you have now. Be grateful for what you have, because you will never know when you lose it, and one of the worst things is realising when you lose it and regretting what you didn’t do when you had it.

I am grateful for this little company, for my customers and companies, for the relationships I build around them, and for how many new people I met that I never thought I would meet or go to places I had never been. I am grateful. I don’t know how long it will last, but I will enjoy it till the end.

This month we’ve been busy with receiving orders, packing, and sending, and just as one week left till July, I wanted to make a small video to show my gratitude to all of you. Show us behind the scenes of packing, and maybe later I will show you more of how we work behind the scenes. I hope you enjoy it.

Newsletter: June’s ocean

The lovely amazing summer is here!

Hope everyone is ready with towels and ice cream to run to beach! Kids dragging their inflated ducks and wheels, parents heavy lift bags towels, snacks and all what it needs for the beach and the dog racing to get to water as soon as posible.

Resting cat also was away for a little bit last month and got really inspired by the Looe in Cornwall. It has been decided to change plans with projects for the sake of summer and beautiful weather! Isn’t that amazing!

Keep up with the hot weather! Leave your computer and phones! Go outside and get some good doze of vitamin D for your own sake.

After busy winter seasons, we finally have spring to breathe in and enjoy the sun’s rays warming our cheeks. Feel the warmth.

With spring coming, we released the Books & Plants collection, and as expected, washi tapes have the biggest popularity. We are grateful for your support, and I hope you have a lot of fun decorating your journals, notes, and letters.

And what are we doing now? Of course, I’m working on a new collection. As you know, we made Kimono cats, so we thought now, we needed Hanbok cats. We work hard to get the highest quality and the best that you deserve.

Earth Day 2023

Happy Earth Day, everyone!

I hope you are having a wonderful day filled with sunshine! Being aware of all the joys and treasures that Mother Nature gives us and doing things that reduce damage to our planet.

We, as a company, do struggle a lot to keep the planet as friendly as possible and give the best quality products and service at the same time. Some factories refuse to cooperate to reduce waste, like washi tape with plastic wrap on it and other products. However, we do not give up and try to find ways to reduce, reuse, or even completely change products. For the future, we hope to become as friendly as possible and also give you the best shopping experience with us.

Everyone congratulations with upcoming Easter!

March is here, and great news is here too. It is spring! Personality, my favourite season is spring. It has that magical awakening in nature; everything gets so colourful and beautiful! 

We also have exciting news as we get closer to the release of the new collection. We cannot wait to share this joy together. There will be new products that we haven’t sold before. Our shop’s ambition is to grow and offer a wider range of products for you to choose from. This is why, for us, it is a huge step and a joyful one.

We also would like to announce that we will start working with Thorful on our card designs our page and give lots of love.

We hope you have great March time! Fine a lot of spring flowers and tree buds to enjoy! And don’t forget Mother’s Day is coming(UK) !

February Newsletter 2023

And here it is already, the second month of 2023. Time goes really fast, let’s not forget to stay in the present, not to rush to the future or stay in the past for too long. We are here and right now, hearing, breathing, smelling, feeling and this time will never come back to us again. The wind is rising, let’s keep on living.

As you may have noticed, this month’s honoured photo is our upcoming spring design. We’ve been working for a while on this and want to release it as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we are having issues with British Royal Mail cyber attacks and are unable to send packages bigger than cards. So there is a high chance that the first release of washi tapes will start at the “Resting Cat Shop EU” store, which is in Ireland and has no issues with the posting system, and the main shop will stay UK only.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience and we will keep you updated. Keep an eye on the Instagram posts for further updates.

Happy New Year everyone!

2022 was a bit more calmer comparing to years before when pandemic hit us. At the same time full for lessons as it was first full year of Resting Cat Shop! We had great new products and designs, more amazing feedback from you all.

For 2023, we want to do even better and give you an amazing variety of products to choose from. There will be more washi tape designs, books, posters, and more. We are also hoping to fully leave Etsy and sell everything on this website. So there would be a relationship between you and us, without a middle man.

I hope this year brings you more joy and happiness. And to finish this month’s blog with my favourite quote:

Festive Christmas month has started! It is a wonderful time of the year when you meet your family& friends, celebrate together & share the joys of life and warmth when outside is dark and cold.

Resting Cat shop is 1 year old!

It’s relief to tell that is has been one years since shop survived even post covid time. There has been rough time, but haven’t had them?
