Newletter: A slow March

Dear Readers,

Finally, slowly, we are leaving winter behind us and seeing all the beauty blooming on the trees. Have you noticed it yet?

Even though the weather in our area has gotten colder, we are still seeing beautiful signs of new life in the natural world. Stop running, and just enjoy it. Stay in the present and appreciate what you see and feel now, because you never know when it will happen again. Covid has definitely taught me that one.

I personally would love to say thank you to all of our customers. Usually we have quiet Februaries, but this time it wasn’t. Which made me so happy that you love the designs I make. Also, the most beautiful feedback I get… It’s just so heartwarming! I really appreciate that!

Yours, Restng Cat~

Newletter: Resting cat second time

Dear readers,

Welcome to February! Things have slowed down now that Christmas and New Year celebrations have passed. Have you been well?

We had to take some time off to work through what we wanted to achieve and what we wanted to make for you guys. To remember what exactly we are here for, getting into deep thoughts and new ideas will bloom like a spring bud and will bring some peaceful aura to express in our work to spread little joys and peace into your lives. We don’t need lots; we just have too many choices. However, it is not always easy to recognise what you actually need. But I’m wishing you to find it, because when you do, your heart feels so warm and peaceful. So that’s what I like to bring to this work.

As you see, we will be having a new type of washi tape, and hopefully more than that. We really wish to make a collection of just resting cats because of our title, because why not?

Thank you for your time. Keep yourself well and healthy.

Yours, Resting Cat~

Newsletter: First month of 2024

Happy New Year, everyone!!

As always, time runs so fast, and we are already in 2024. Remember everyone saying that the world will end in 2012, or was it 2000? But all that sounds silly now, doesn’t it? but almost felt like that in 2020, at least to me. Whoever reads this, you survived through it, and I am happy you are here.

I really want to thank all of you for your support. This December was the busiest I had ever been in two years of having the shop, and I loved it! Thank you so much. You gave me so much joy with all the lovely comments and feedback you gave me. You are the best. You know, I do not write that in thank-you cards just because… but I truly believe that.

I wish your year would be more happy and that hearts would be in calm and peace. We need that in this fast-running world. Do stop and just take a deep breath.

Thank you for your time, and I will see you in the next newsletter.

Yours, Resting Cat~

Newsletter: October’s first market

Hello October!

There is only one week left until the craft market! I do admit it is scary and exciting at the same time, as I have never done this before. However, it will be a great honour to meet my clients for the first time, as I only see your messages and reviews online.

For new designs, we have cards and washi tapes that will have priority to be sold in the craft market. So make sure to come if you live close to Bournemouth! We will be waiting!

The online shop will be closed for next week as we want to focus on the market and do stock take afterwords; however, EU Resting Cat will be open and has all Christmas theme items waiting to be shipped to your home.

I will see you at the market

Newsletter: September’s Autumn

~Matsup Basho

Autumn is creeping into our lives again, giving us a light, cooler wind. Did you have a chance to enjoy flowers and walk barefoot in the grass? We will soon have to enjoy orange and red leaves raining on our heads.

With that in mind, our autumn seasonal items have also creeped into our shop. We are also finishing the last touches of the HaBok Cats edition too.

For this autumn season, we will not be introducing any new products, as we want to pay attention to trying new things and give more range and variety to the shop. If there is anything you like about stationery that you would be interested in seeing our take on, please don’t hesitate and give us a message. We always read it and take notes for our future projects.

I wish you wonderful begining of Autumn season, lets take deep breath in~

Newsletter: Seagull of July

We are reaching the middle of the calendar summer. It might be hard, hot, or rainy there, but still enjoy it. You know that autumn and winter will come next. Everything is temporary, so enjoy what you have now. Be grateful for what you have, because you will never know when you lose it, and one of the worst things is realising when you lose it and regretting what you didn’t do when you had it.

I am grateful for this little company, for my customers and companies, for the relationships I build around them, and for how many new people I met that I never thought I would meet or go to places I had never been. I am grateful. I don’t know how long it will last, but I will enjoy it till the end.

This month we’ve been busy with receiving orders, packing, and sending, and just as one week left till July, I wanted to make a small video to show my gratitude to all of you. Show us behind the scenes of packing, and maybe later I will show you more of how we work behind the scenes. I hope you enjoy it.

Newsletter: June’s ocean

The lovely amazing summer is here!

Hope everyone is ready with towels and ice cream to run to beach! Kids dragging their inflated ducks and wheels, parents heavy lift bags towels, snacks and all what it needs for the beach and the dog racing to get to water as soon as posible.

Resting cat also was away for a little bit last month and got really inspired by the Looe in Cornwall. It has been decided to change plans with projects for the sake of summer and beautiful weather! Isn’t that amazing!

Keep up with the hot weather! Leave your computer and phones! Go outside and get some good doze of vitamin D for your own sake.

Signing off, Resting Cat ~
